Driven: E46 M3 or 987 Boxster S
Ridden: 997 C4S

Relatively unimpressive, I hope to improve upon it.

Close to 145 in a 911 SC (with about 9 psi of boost).
Felt like a gazillion.

I went well over 120 mph in a 914 a few times, that was at around 7 psi boost. Felt like 2 gazillion.

I did 130 in a stink-bugged 69 GTX when I was 17, used the entire freeway. The Dumass (me) is lucky to be alive after that stunt. It did not handle well at that speed.

I did over 145 in a blown gas flatbottom drag boat. Darned near dropped a duece in my suit every time.

I've gone over 150 in drag cars many times over the years, most were set up decent so it wasn't that big of a deal.

It's all relative. If the car is designed to do it, it's not that big of a deal. If it's not designed or set up to do it, it'll scare the crapoutaya.

Oh I forgot to add my "driven."

I've gone an indicated 135 in my SC, which is really about128.

And the automatic rev-cut out on my 1989 Chevy Beretta was at about 116. What an idiot.

Sat. I drove, very hard, a 360 Spider and a Nissan GTR. The sound of the Ferrari from the drivers seat is intoxicating. Beyond that it can't touch the GTR. The GTR is by far the fastest street car I have ever driven.

A Kirkham Cobra replica with a real 427 side oiler. I didn't max it out by any means, but spinning the tires ar 60 mph is definitely an eye opener.

In my turbo under full boost I am at "directly go to jail" speeds in 3rd gear. I have no clue how fast thatr car will go (factory claimed 186 mph I belive) but with all the engine work done, I don't think I ever want to find out.

Those are the top two.

Family friends V-12 Jaguar with my dad at the wheel early 70's

68 Corvette w 427 striped with nothing in it with the exception of a steering wheel and a 5 gal bucket and a seat belt that kept me on the bucket. Very scary thinking back on that.

The 930 is no slouch at the track.

Drove a friend's near 400HP gen 2 MR2 Turbo a while back. Thing is redic. The block is stock, that is it. Motec ECU, huge turbo, water-air intercooler, the works. Launch control via the ECU. Mash the clutch and gas, drop the clutch, it works out the rest. Insane, and it hadn't been fully tuned yet. Running only 20 PSI of boost.

Also rode in a 10 second (with the slips to prove it to me) diesel truck once too. Some giant Dodge... the super super duty kind. Guy had all sortsa turbo diesel goodies. He mashed the gas, it made whoosing sounds, and we were doing 140MPH. Just like that. It felt odd because the truckwas so high off the ground, you really lost sensation of speed.

90 in a '59 AH Bugeye Sprite.

Flat-out in top gear up the straight away at Watkins Glen in my Zink Z10B. The motor was a little duff, so I'm guessing about 110-115 MPH (the gear charts aren't handy right now).

The other possibility was a Crossle 42S Sports 2000, the fastest that I drove it was flat-out in top gear just prior to the south banking at NHIS. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of me in the car, but this picture from the UK is pretty close, including the color.

The top speed in both cars would have most likely been about the same at each of those points

The fastest car I've driven is my brother's `07 Gt3 at 164 (track) at 164 - my own car (993) at 155 both on the highway and track

Yet to explore the capabilities of my new 997 C2S...

In an undisclosed location the Corrado found 120 yesterday.... Dont think I want anymore not on a very flat piece of pavement....
