Yes, people's true selves are often ugly, offensive, and downright disturbing.
But rarely are we afforded the chance to see reality on display in such a wonderful fashion. IF you have the courage to face what is real and give up the PC confines of our comfortable faux existences.

It is definitely not for everyone, I can't recall who first said "it's not for the thin-skinned" but a greater understatement would be hard to find.

This thread is full of folks who do not fit that bill by their own admission.
Warm and fuzzy is much more comforting, even if it is just a.......

EDIT:
PS, rarely are we afforded a better learning environment than PARF.
If ... we actually read and evaluate, and IF we do meaningful research to back our opinions and assumptions.
Many do not and are called out on it immediately.

PARF can be entertaining.

Nah, Festivus is universal across the forum.

Just look at the my cruise wasn't like a stock photo thread.

My favorite threads in the 911 tech section are the ones where the weekend wrenches go on and argue with the professional wrenches. Priceless.

Those are definitely entertaining - especially when the weekend wrenches start spewing obvious misinformation (almost immediately, of course).

Shouldn't you be commenting over in the BANNED thread?
Used to be the moderators didn't like it when people got banned and then changed their screen name to sneak back in.

Progress. Bah.

. . . .

I posted in there days ago. Why not heed your own advice about doing research before opening your flapper?

Driving home tonight, listening to some Neil Young, I thought PARF needs a theme song.

Something about an aerostar, a loaded gun, and sweet dreams of you :D
