In the US...the guys in the Porsche would have been arrested...and the rapist would have been set free.

I saw a guy who was weaving across three lanes at 20 mph and called police. The dispatcher told me to stop following the car and go on my way. "Wouldn't you like the license plate and a description of the vehicle?" I asked. After taking the info she again insisted that I go on my way... really shocked me. This was on city streets.

Makes no sense. Lady got away safe, she knows who the guy is, as he is an acquaintance and they have the license number. There is no reason to try to catch the guy. If they would not have chased the him, he wouldn't have gone 100+ MPH. Also, I wouldn't try to drag someone out of their car - they may be armed. Running red lights is like playing Russian Roulette.

Going fast in a 997 turbo? Sure - trackday!
