A must see documentary-

The recent Duc thread got me thinking about I movie a saw a few years ago on John Britten, a Kiwi engineer and bike builder... I remember the movie being extremely inspirational to me as an engineer and hobby fabricator. Sadly John passed away not to long after the film was made, but he left behind such amazing work.. it's the epitome of what a man can do with ingenuity and dedication.

After searching, I found that the entire movie is on Youtube now.

Here's embedded part 1... really worth a watch:

Thanks for hunting the doc down. I'm going to put that one in the permanent file.

What is it about those Kiwis? Way too to many motorcycle geniuses per capita in that country!

If you haven't seen "The World's Fastest Indian" go rent it, it's fantastic, well done and inspirational.

Better yet, read the book, 'One Good Run' - it came out about the same time as the movie and is really well written. There is alot of details in the book that the movie skipped or grouped into one event.

Me too! It's rolled up in the garage so I just pulled it out. I've never put it up, but I've carried it around for a while so it's not perfect
