Without question a boa or python. I immediately though Rock or Burmese Python.
Speaking of snakes, some crazy Chinese man has a duffel bag full of poisonous snakes near the place we eat lunch. I'm talking Cobras, Russell's Vipers, Bush Vipers, Kraits, etc. It's snake wine season! Disgusting. ![]() ![]()

If it was within 10 feet of me, you'd call it a dead snake.

It's about 8" long.
My nearest neighbor is about 3 miles away...so I doubt it was let loose by anyone. I am at 1,200ft with no ponds or creeks... RL- "It has a boa/python head, but it's some other kind, perhaps a rock or blood python," are this around in Virginia?
