Paypal Question
Can a Paypal transaction be reversed? Someone sold me a part.......and shipped a different part. Let's call it a........ mischaracterization.

Yes. They have a procedure on the web page to dispute a charge. Sometimes it works, sometimes is does not.

Dispute the charge, they tend to side with the buyer.

Do it quick. They tend to screw both sides. I have reversed one of these but only after calling AmEx and stopping the charge. PayPal was furious about it but AmEx would not budge and saved my bacon.
I hate PP but still use it from time to time.

YUP why do you think Paypal wants you to use your bank account as the primary source instead of a credit card

Dave,
Found that out early on. Had a bank account attached to PP and they locked it up over something silly. OK MF'ers, two can play that game. After the block was lifted I closed the bank account and kept only the AmEx on the account. They are not happy but I learned...

My PayPal account was hacked a while ago. Last week I finally decided to open a new account using a only a credit card. All is good, then a screen pops up at the end and PayPal wants my bank account info to "complete the registration process" with no way I could see to get around it. Fuch that. So I clicked out of the entire thing and forget about it. Next morning, I've got an email from them with a link to confirm my new account
![]() They are a very devious company .... but what is the alternative? ![]()

If you note they will change up 'option' features every so often so where a week before you hit use CC card "pay now"it will be in another spot and where the use CC was 'bank account' pay now in that spot. You gotta watch them VERY closely. I never use bank account.
