i can eat any flavor poptart. this is my go-to meal on backpacking hunting trips. hunger is truly the best spice. they go down deliciously! i have toasted them on a campstove. i know a lady that butters the unfrosted cinnamon tarts.

+1 on the butter on the unfrosted ones. I like the strawberry.

Geez, I thought this was going to be a praise for the Cherry Poptart. I had one nicely toasted as a late night snack yesterday.

When did you have your first TOASTED pop-tart. Oh sure I ate them for years while in college as a snack. They weren't bad! Then one day I actually toasted one. Holy goodness Batman.... Now I can't eat them untoasted.

Cherry Poptarts are awesome toasted. I haven't had one in awhile, but they are the go to flavor. Blueberry and strawberry are ok. The chocolate ones are gross in the morning.

I used to get snacks all the time in my first year of grad school. I'd run something and go get a snickers, skittles or something and snack on that while the code was running. Now that prices are up about 10-15 cents, I stopped getting them. I can go to the grocery store and pick em up for cheaper and have a nice stock of them around to snack on. I think its only us Pelicans that worry about how much stuff costs and don't buy it when it goes up too much.

My wife would never allow frosted Pop-Tarts in the house. My son is now a freshman at the U. of Oregon. While Skyping (video phone call) with his mom, Justin holds up a box of frosted Pop-Tarts to the camera and says, "What you gonna do now, mom? Huh?"

Since I started this thread, there has been a single Cherry Poptart on the vending machine two floors up in front of a stack of Cinnamom Poptarts. That single Cherry Poptart has not sold.

Grrrr! I feel like I'm being c***blocked by a f***ing Cherry Poptart!

Stand in line behind someone and right as they pay distract them and punch the button that frees those poptarts. I did that on several occasions in HS.

Agreed, toaster strudels are much better than pop tarts, but it's not an either/or world. THere is a place in the world for both.

Definitely a place for both, Steve. Pop tarts are for eating in those places where there is not access to a toaster. Now when there is a toaster present there is no excuse...

Every time I see this thread I want another Cherry Poptart Legion. You're just continuing the cycle by allowing this to continue.

BTW I called your vending company and asked them to replace more of the items with Cherry PopTarts. The whole bottom row.

With all due respect to your Hubig's Pies, the true, genuine Southern Thing is the much reverred, hallowed, and in some circles worshiped, Krispy Kreme Doughnut!

Each bite a bite of Heaven!

This reminds me of a local fundraiser they are going to have. The challenge is to run 2 miles, eat 12 Krispy Kreme donuts, and then run 2 more miles all within an hour. I am not signing up.
