I wish Earth had rings.
It's hard to imagine what the historical take on them would have been. After all the Earth was flat 400 years ago. Makes me wonder if there's anything natural, orbiting Earth that just can't be seen.

Earth does have a ring- it's called geosynchronous orbit, and there's a few thousand satellites in it.

In addition, low and medium-earth, sun-synch satellite orbits would be unavailable. Would make for an interesting change in our post WWII history.
