Who is having wild turkey tomorrow?

No, not the 101 proof stuff - the real kind, like the Pilgrims.

Not us, I missed. Now my niece is making fun of me..

Not me.

I had 2 in the front yard last week just strutting around cause they knew they were safe in the park. I tapped on the window and they just looked at me.....If I walk out side you see 2 footballs with wings flying through the air.

My college roommate tried to start a tradition one year with the 101 proof kind. Good grief that stuff tastes like azz. Horrible whiskey. I guess it's an acquired taste.

We drink Evan Williams or Maker's Mark.

Wild Turkey will certainly do!

We got a heritage turkey this year. Ours is a Narragansett and is supposed to far surpass the broad breasted whites in taste and flavor. I can't wait for tomorrow.

Everyone I speak to about hunting turkeys in GA always talk about how difficult they are to hunt, I know some very accomplished hunters that haven't bagged a GA tom despite years of trying.

We were almost going to have wild turkey. Driving home from work the other day I saw a couple from the flock on my right but didn't see the one walking toward the road on the left. He almost bit it. I would have been PO'd to have messed up the bumper on my new car. We have a huge flock in the neighborhood. I counted more than 20 adults over the summer.

Neither for me going to the country club for dinner, was hoping to be at the Turkey Rod Run, but that would require a lot of walking..

I wish.

Thanksgiving is when my wife likes me the LEAST. I don't do turkey or stuffing. Oh we have it in the house but I won't partake...more for the wife and kids...but she thinks I'm setting a poor example. Just mashed potatoes+gravy, some yams, veggies, and big honkin piece of pumpkin pie with whip for me thanks.

Oh and don't forget a couple nice bottles of red wine.

In Las Cruces and my sister in law was cooking dinner. She didn't realize she had a turkey roaster in the closet! Came out nice and juicy!

We're now on Cazadores Reposado, by the shot glass. I hope we don't see the turkey again, later tonight.
