Just found the off topic forum!!!

And the religious and political forum. WOW what a jem of information! and I agree with about 90% of the topics. So, is this really how Porsche people think? or is it how (we) think the reason we own Porsches?
anyway, I see a lot of the usual suspects on this board over there. Good to see the "other side" of people that aren't talking CIS adjusting or torsion bar diameters.
keep up the good work!!

CIS adjusting or torsion bar diameters... That's about the sum total of my life!

Oh before I forget... And anything to do with rebuilding a 915.

Pretty!

James, stay out of the Politics and Religion Forum - it's dangerous in there!

That sidesteps the whole key issue of "Do they think?"

Agreeing w/ the topics is easy. Agreeing w/ some of the opinions is what's hard.

What do you draw your conclusions upon, as to "how the Porsche people think"? I ask this in earnest, as I've not delved much in to OT threads on religion or politics.

Did you draw a statistical (kinda') take on what was there? If so, what, exactly, were the elements that struck you?

Getting ready to head over there and have a look.........here goes (probably NOT where I would choose to spend large quanitites of my time,..but will be glad to make a few comments on my take on the topics at hand,..BUT ,...no diatribes....no time for that......

Thanks for your post.

Best,

Doyle

If you enjoy living in Bellingham, then chances are your opinions will differ sharply from the prevailing ideology on the Politics and Religion forum. You will come away from that Forum at times feeling......icky. Some of the remarks there are disturbing.

I'm just a humble aircraft mechanic, little right from center but wow, it's like a FOX and CNBC war over there. Like being hunkered down in Bellingham thank you.

PARF is fun. Just don't take it to seriously.
I must admit I am one of the agitators, I love it.
That's what they call smart people over there.

I don't know about the others but from what I have experienced. You can call a guy a pinhead in PARF, insult his religion and his mother.
Then go to OT and get serious advice from the same guy.

The Technical Forum is almost like OT or PARF don't even exist. I have been in degrading, insult fests with some of these people and then in Tech it's like "Hey man, How are you doing? That's a nice car, What kind of wax do you use? Have a nice day, it's been good chatting with you."

P.S. What's a torsion bar?
Do they serve drinks there?
