Buh-bye (for now...)

When next I visit PP I will be in my new digs across the country, far, far away from the "People's Republic of Kalifornia". I'll miss some things about it. Others, not so much. It's the right time to be checking out of the Hotel California.

Busy days ahead - starting a new job, moving into a new house, etc. in the next couple of weeks. Computer is getting packed up in about an hour and I don't know what kind of laptop access I'll have enroute. I'll fill you guys in if I get the chance. Due to timetable I don't think I'll be able to stop and meet up along the way, but if I can, I'll definitely post asking if anyone wants to GTG for some dinner or whatever.

It's been real, it's been fun. Onto a better life. Looking forward to the new opportunities.

Any Northeast Pelicans up for a brewski in a week or two?

See y'all for now...

Hey Porsche o Phile, not sure where you are moving, but I am up in the great northeaset, Pittsburgh area. Even if you feel like stopping in for a beer on your way up, let me know.
Best of luck with your move. Better get used to the cold though.

Have a good move. Exciting times! Your new city is a pretty cool place, as you know. Let us know how things are going when you get there.

I'll be in Boston again in the Spring for another feature, I'll look forward to see you there again. Funny, the only two places that you and I meet are LA and Boston. I'm outta here in about 10 years unless I get canned earlier, then who knows.

Moving out of California close to 20 years ago was one of the best things I ever did. I always enjoy going to visit family and friends in Cali but I am so glad to live in Colorado. Sometimes when the wife I travel to the Bay Area we talk about moving back until we go out and drive somewhere and realize just how F'ed up it can be.

I guess Phoenix is too close for you to need to stop for the night. I hope moving back east makes you as happy as moving to AZ has made me.
