McAfee AV vs. the others

Tell me. Tell me all about McAfee AV vs. the others. Don't just say "It's better" cause I KNOW McAfee sux.

It's for someone else. Who think it's the greatest cause she's never gotten a virus.
I tell her "You don't know if they don't find it" (upon installing Kaspersky, it found 80+ virii that McAfee missed)

So tell her. And tell her why. PLEASE before she renews.

PC World magazine did a comparison test of the well-known antivirus programs.

McAfee came in dead last in the comparison test, because (1) it failed to identify most of the test viruses used, and (2) of the viruses it did identify, it actually failed to remove/ quarantine half of those!

McAfee's performance was pathetic.

You already showed her how infected her computer was, and how ineffective McAfee is. The comparison test done by PC World shows that your results are absolutely correct. If she isn't persuaded by these results, then perhaps covert action might help..

I now have zone alarm extreme security that uses Kapersky for its AV. Also look into Threatfire it is a good free AV.
