I just bought 11 of these to give to my clients this Christmas. I want to keep them. Better than a box of chocolates or a Starbucks gift card I think.

No, just a good ole fashioned pocket knife. I debated about getting that one and decided against it.

I have one of those plain little ones laying next to me right now... Mine is the one with the checkered aluminum sides... I don't carry it much but keep it around for trimming my nails and stuff. It did go my whole Philmont trek in my pack though... Great for opening packages and stuff... Sometimes the knife in my leatherman is just too much...

I can't believe you guys! you all talk about hording shinny little bobbles and trinkets that you keep in a little dark place when most people can't get enough to eat or drink clean water, WATER! Could you just buy one less flashlight or knife and help your fellow earthmates?

who am I kidding, I need a Surefire for my shotgun. Using a AA Mag-light and it's not cutting it. any quality lights out there cheaper than the Surefire?
And somhow, I have about 8 swiss army knives, is that bad?

Somehow, somewhere, I bet somebody has made a knife/flashlight combination. Two buttons; one pops out a blade and the other one turns on a very bright bulb.

Like others here I like knives. I have some pretty nice ones, and also some everyday carry ones. I've got a lot of Benchmades, Microtechs, SOG's (I got an Architech and I love it, great quality), CRKT's, Buck's, Al Mar's andsome other randoms. I have a Gerstner Wooden Toolbox (the larger one that sits on top) in my bedroom that basically full (it locks).

Yep I've got a problem with knives.

I alo enjoy quality tools, that I end up gettng dirty and using.

I'm also jones for one of those sweet remotes that controls a bunch of different functions.
