I played Medal of Honor Heroes on our Wii for a while, it was pretty fun, I liked using the controller to aim guns and throw grenades. The graphics were okay.

What I am dubious about is flight sims and driving games. I'm used to a nice joystick w/ view hat and rudder pedals for the former, forcefeeback wheel and accel/brake pedals for the latter, on a PC, with keyboard controls for all the other stuff - landing gear, weaponry, etc. I haven't tried simming on a console yet, but I haven't seen any decent-looking flight or driving controls for the Wii.

I played a round of wii golf before going to work this morning. I birdied the first 5 holes and was on my way to a new record. Then I parred the next 3 holes, missing two easy birdie puts. Then on the 9th (and final) hole, I hit the ball into the ocean twice.

I wanted to throw the controller right through the $%@($& TV! So, as you can see, the golf game is very realistic.

We have one too. My son (7 years old) is crazy for the skiing and boxing. My daughter (3 years old) is really trying to get tennis down. We don't have any Star Wars games or "blaster games", but managing the kids to spend less time with the Wii is always a challenge...

We got the Wii last year for christmas - honestly the xbox360 gets a lot more use.

My son and I play forza, Halo3 and ODST = and need for speed drift on it.

Pretty wild when you can get on Social Slayer and 50,000 other people are playing at the same time...

I gave up on the crapbox( Xbox) system after the 3rd (yes!! 3rd) time I had to send it back for repairs. Game systems are not as fun when they're on a fedex truck more than in my living room
