man, m wife is clueless about what i want for a holiday gift.
funny woman...cracks me up. she is always raving about, "you are so hard to shop for!" hahahhaha! i am a pocketknife, flashlight, porsche 911 owning, avid bowhunter..piece-O-cake...
i have to window shop with her, and make very deliberate mental notes about what she likes and wants..she is hobby-less, and very difficult to shop for. but i am good to go! i have been leaving hints for that 5-11 flashlight..

lol. I'll mention stuff I want in passing in July and promptly forget about it. It shows up at Christmastime. My wife is impossible to shop for and she knows it. I was going to buy her a GPS for the new van and she got on on the black Friday sales.

I gave up on subtle hints. I print out a page with the item, the web site and everything. I have hit several "home runs" for her presents. I get a check or cash. Ah well that will work.

I know this is strange coming from a woman but we don't do gifts. I usually fix my husband a stocking when I do one for our son but that's it. We stopped after we got married. It's a lot less stressful.

My wife completely ignores the "Gun Wish List" and "Truck Wish List" spreadsheets that are often open when she takes over the laptop to browse Facebook.

Our family usually sends an email at Birthdays and Christmas with a list of wants including links to purchase online. Often they get stuff from the list and stuff that's not on the list, but it's really great having the list just in case you can't think of anything else.
