Etiquette question...getting borrowed DVDs back

Is there some diplomatic way of broaching the subject with a female coworker who borrowed my DVD set of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia"?

She's a bit of a nutter.

But jeez, it's been two months!!!

I have a friend who just returned my BSG DVDs after having them for six months. He never even watched them. I started asking him for them back after two months.

I essentially resorted to telling him that a friend in Chicago wanted to borrow them.

That's the diplomatic solution I'm looking for. Can't be too careful with women.

Things have been awkward for me since I went to a party at her house and her husband was showing me his "spoon" in their bedroom and I noticed a squirt container of anal lube on their dresser. I can't look her in the eye since then.

Ask her if you can borrow some money so you can buy the "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" DVD.

Actually, that one is true. The other one is too complicated and I might get distracted by the anal lube memories if I try to pull that one off. Why can't people police their house and put away weird things before a party???

This is one of those situations that had to be covered in an episode of seinfeld... but wasn't.

I used a Pelican hybrid version of the more diplomatic requests and she's going to return them Monday. She watched three episodes and lost interest..."I forgot I had them". Thank you Pelican Diplomatic Corps!

As far as banging her, she reminds me of Jackie Gleason without the cigar.

Why not? Just because she is all wallowed out up front and takes care of her man in other ways, no reason not to look her in the eye.

"Hey, I want to watch so and so movie, can I please have it back" .... repeat every few days. If she does not respond in a few days offer to sell it to her but one way or the other you want to watch the movie.
