Could this the the last days of SoCal?

Here in NorCal it aint much better. I had to drive 40 miles from Half Moon Bay to Santa Cruz this morning, and it took 4 hours. At Ano Nuevo, there were 5 big pine trees across Hwy 1, along with a power pole. I turned around and went through Pescadero to SkyLonda. Sort of the same route we took on our New Years Day run. But today I needed my 4X4 to get over the many mudslides in the road. The 911 would not have made it. Hwy 9 was closed, so I took Hwy 17. It was closed too; I was stuck there for an hour.
