Upgraded to 10.6.2 last night via Software Update. Ran NetbookInstaller after it asked me to reboot (I said "later" to the reboot). Restarted. 10v booted up fine and I re-ran NBI just to be safe, then rebooted again. Re-ran Software Update for a few more bits'n'pieces....rebooted again and now I'm typing this on my 10v.

Software Update says I'm up-to-date and this thing boots so fast it make my 24" iMac look like a plodding behemoth.

Intel X25-M SSD's seem to be best for customer use right now. For server use, be prepared to pay triple price.
I've been looking at SSD's and the Intel drives seem to be coming up with a lot of good reviews. The cost / gig is still much higher than a spinning disk though. I was thinking of going with and 80 gig SSD as my main drive with Windows 7, main apps, etc and using my terabyte spinning drive for backup/storage. Just curious what others are doing as far as SSD use/config for personal home PC's?

We had to go to SSD in the laptops in our aerial photo planes. At about 14,000 feet the spinning drives stop working. Our plane is not pressurized so the drives just crash. The SSD boots up real fast.

I was finally able to get OSX running on my Atom based Intel D945GCLF2D MB. I ad to go back to Leopard instead of Snow Leopard for the moment. 10.5.6 installed without a problem, I was able to run the updates from within OSX, but after a reboot into the new 10.5.8 kernel, it panicked. I had to turn off hyper threading in the bios, then it booted, only seeing two procs. I put the older 10.5.6 kernel back on and turned on HT and all is fine. So I have the benefits of the 10.5.8 updates, but running the 10.5.6 kernel.

OSX sees fours procs now.

Now that I have a working Mac, I can play and see if I can get SL to work with this Intel MB.

I have not really done any testing with this Mac, but I am surprised how fast it is for a Atom proc with 1 gig of RAM.
