We got :
black bean and ham soup jambalaya with andouille sausage shrimp and yellow rice Muffaletta sandwiches (thanks Craig) Finished off with a king cake ( I know where the baby is) aaiiiieee! Gonna show my Yankee friends here how the south throws a party! Go SAINTS! |

found some live dungeness crab at 2.99 per lb. bought two of the biggest and meanest i could find in the tank. they will die, along with a huge green papaya salad. and a bottle of wine.

Just finished what was the best roasted chicken I have ever made. Side dishes were roasted potato and rutabaga with mushrooms that were cooked in rendered lardon and a nice Arugula salad with goat cheese. Recipes from the FCI fundamental techniques of classic cuisine with some modifications. Paired with my favorite Chilean Cab...
