Who?

EDIT TO ADD: Ah, ok, i just read the article.

Darwin at work IMO. The flip side is that he died doing what he truly loved. In many respects, he was very lucky to die doing what he loved. (especially if it was quick and painless)

Head's fine. I think my brain is finally talking to me again and on the outside, the swelling is almost gone.

As for the mountain, I'm still waiting for the the seismograph data... I had to have made the needles twitch...

Bill, I have to take issue with the "Darwin at work..."...

This guy was a professional. He lived and breathed this stuff. He was skiing a run that he had skied before and many others have as well. It was routine, but something happened.

Darwin is like eating your winning lotto ticket, just because the airplane can't (and wasn't supposed) to pay...

P.S. In the '80s we had "Skate or die!"... The same has always applied to skiing... "Ski or die!"...

In his case it was ski and get in a coma and ski again and die.

To each his own bro, but it's extremely dangerous behavior. If you fk up at those velocities on that kind of slope...as you know, siyanora.

I have skied, never was more than a novice, it's fun, but it's obvious when you're doing it even on a beginners course that very bad things can happen if you hit a tree or rock or even another skier.

I'm not sure your profession is that much safer.... Are you retiring? I think you're still on the sidelines..

Thanks Bill. I plan on doing so, for quite a while.

I wasn't trying to be harsh in my above post...
