It was definitely a time of experimentation in drag racing...not the cookie cutter cars of today.

Its not like today that's for damn sure. Everyone is all nice, neat organized and fit and well dressed. No one in the crowd looked like 300LB slobs back then.

Today it's tattooed trailer trash in the grandstands.

I love Drag Racing, love the cars, love building and driving, but damn do I hate the crowds.
