I don't have time to read novels or fiction anymore, i spend a great deal of time reading technical manuals. Does that count?

I have developed a filter that prevents me from reading all of the posts in a thread.

I wrote/published technical articles for two journals this month...but did not read them afterward. I hope I did not repeat myself.

How did this go downhill so fast?

Going downhill is ok, but if you're going uphill be very careful because the mower can tip backward like a bobcat if you're not careful.

I thought you were supposed to mow across the hill.

But that OK, cause we just don't have that many hills, hereabouts.

Sometimes I read the entire thread and make a comment.

Sometimes I will go backwards reading the last pages of a thread I have already started.

You really don't want to know what I think sometimes, regardless of how I respond, but maybe one or two people out of a hundred do. I can live with that. You can move on, no worries.

I read the original post, prepare a smart-ass response, and then skim the replies to see if some other idiot has pre-empted me. In this case, there was many much low-hanging fruit, but a certain idiot beat me to it.

Mangoes are my favorite low-hanging fruit.
