Does anyone ever read...

...the entire thead before they add their .02?
It drives me crazy when people throw in their opinion without reading on to see where the thread direction has gone, or worse, they never read anything but the last post and respond to that.
Just shaken my head here.

Gogar 03-06-2010 05:21 PM

I usually read right before bedtime, but I've been kind of slacking lately. But I do love to read, yeah.

I read the entire thread. Sometimes I get the Cliff-notes.

Embraer 03-06-2010 05:36 PM

I read the Economist today at the airport. Oh wait,....that's not what this thread was about

fintstone 03-06-2010 05:50 PM

I usually read it twice...because I just can't believe someone was actually serious when they came up with some of the crap they post.

Tobra 03-06-2010 05:54 PM

generally yes

masraum 03-06-2010 07:19 PM

Yeah, I read all of the time. I read fiction, sometimes technical manuals for work, lately I've been reading about WWI.

masraum 03-06-2010 07:21 PM

Wait, what's this thread about again?

;)

:D

crustychief 03-06-2010 07:25 PM

I read the entire thread. There are times that someone has posted exactly what was typed by a previous poster. I believe this is what you were considering when starting this thread?

herr_oberst 03-06-2010 09:39 PM

How come "Read" and "Thread" don't always rhyme?

snbush67 03-06-2010 10:08 PM

I hate it when someone has posted exactly what was typed by a previous poster. I believe this is what you were talking about when starting this thread?

To read the entire thread would be PC, wtf cares! Some threads actually require reading and comprehension, others just ramble, how does one tell the difference?

It is irritating but obviously, today very few people play by the rules of Hoyle. Many probably don't even recognize the name.

I have read the entire "chest" thread!!:D

red-beard 03-07-2010 03:08 AM

I just did Castles of Steel. The good guys won....then f***ed up the peace & got to do it all over again 20 years later.

Sometimes I don't agree with Cliff so I have to chime in as well.
