I like strawberries, but are they considered a fruit?

It is irritating but obviously, today very few people play by the rules of Hoyle. Many probably don't even recognize the name.

I have read the entire "chest" thread!!:D

It's now completely acceptable to just spell it "OIL". Just make sure its between those hash marks on the dipstick. Lots more of us youngsters call it OIL:eek:

I personally agree with some of the posts in this thread, but not others.

The only guy to ever beat Chuck Norris was Bruce Lee. And then he died so it was a Pyrric victory, even though it didn't happen in the Pyrenees, but rather in the Coloseum in Rome, which is a strange place for a Texas Ranger to end up fighting a small Chinese man. And then Bruce Lee's son died tragically!

So, bottom line - Chuck Norris is still undefeated! I wonder if he reads entire threads before he posts? Probably not, because if he were to post, that would be the end of the thread.

Whassup with the "straw" in strawberries?

911Rob 03-08-2010 11:49 AM

Strawberries may have received their name from the long-time practice of packing the delicate fruit in straw.

Jim Richards 03-08-2010 11:52 AM

Does that mean that other berries (blue, black, cran, etc.) got the rough treatment?

herr_oberst 03-08-2010 11:58 AM

When Chuck Norris pops you on the arm, that red mark (on what's left of your limb) is called a strawberry. Nothing delicate at all about Chuck Norris.

those little stickers on fruit play havoc with sewage treatment plant filtration systems. not biodegradable and clog the F out of filter screens. food for thought next time you send one down the drain.

eat the sticker first, get it over with.

James Brown 03-08-2010 03:53 PM

I has some fruit the other day and the sticker had a advertisement for Coke on it!!! Go figure

Looking_for_911 03-08-2010 04:06 PM

Since when do Coke dealers advertise openly?

It drives me crazy when people throw in their opinion without reading on to see where the thread direction has gone, or worse, they never read anything but the last post and respond to that.
Just shaken my head here.

you need bigger problems........

I heard that apple pays Chuck Norris 99 cents every time he listens to a song.

Chuck Norris can squeeze orange juice from a banana.

When Fonzy kicked a Coke machine, a Coca Cola came out. When Chuck Norris kicked a Coke machine, the original Coca Cola formula suddenly changed to Coke Zero.

Chuck Norris demanded that he should be named the CEO of Microsoft. After Bill Gates denied his wish, Chuck punished him by forcing him to release Windows Vista.

Chuck Norris starred in the original version of the exorcist but it was never released as the film only lasted 25 seconds before the devil ran away.

There is no Esc button on Chuck Norris' keyboard because Chuck Norris never runs away from anything.

afterburn 549 03-08-2010 06:58 PM

he sure is ugly
