Corey Haim Found dead of an apparent overdose.

Celebrity Gossip | Entertainment News | Celebrity News | TMZ.com

38 years old. The guy was a trainwreck, but man that's young.

Jim Richards 03-10-2010 04:59 AM

Who's Cory Haim?

BTW, RIP.

ZOO 03-10-2010 05:03 AM

I thought he died a long time ago. Oh wait, that was River Phoenix. Maybe there's a Stand By Me curse.

GH85Carrera 03-10-2010 05:19 AM

Live fast die young.

Some people think that makes sense. Just another Darwin candidate.

I never heard of the guy either.

BeyGon 03-10-2010 05:41 AM

I just saw that, read the article and still don't know who he was.

Gogar 03-10-2010 05:45 AM

HA the Oakwood.

RIP, d-bag. All the best to your family.

David 03-10-2010 06:00 AM

Oh well, at least he got to have those sex scenes with Nicole Eggert at her peek hotness in Blown Away.

Good songs in that movie. ;)

child movie star in the 80s. Did a lot of movies with Corey Feldman.
I only really remember him as Lucas in the movie of the same name.

Wow. Your disrespect is overwhelming.

KevinP73 03-10-2010 07:21 AM

Dead from an overdose? You'd think with all the drugs and alcohol he'd make it to aleast 80 or 90 like Keith Richards.

WolfeMacleod 03-10-2010 07:26 AM

The Goonies
Lost Boys

Two of my favorite 80's movies

Corey Haim wasn't in The Goonies. Corey Feldman was, though.

Why is he a d-bag? Did you know him?

Who are you?

I take it you had the misfortune of working with him as well? Or were you in rehab with him?

Either way, RIP. Dude had issues. Hope he's at peace

James Brown 03-10-2010 08:06 AM

Being called a dirt bag is not that bad of a thing. There are worse, like "nostril cheese", yummmm.

David 03-10-2010 08:28 AM

Interesting :D

From the Big Head Todd and the Monsters web site:

1994:
BHTM rents the closed down historic Boulder Theatre in which they record and self produce their next record "Strategem". Strategem is released on September 27. The first single off of Stratagem, "In the Morning", is featured on the soundtrack to the movie "Blown Away" and reaches top 10 at AAA radio. A video for the song is produced by Josh Taft and includes appearances by Jimmy Cliff and Sheryl Crow. Boulder Colorado’s KBCO listeners vote Stratagem the #3 album of the year, In The Morning 3aa

I guess I'm missing the relevance to the post topic.

Some band that achieved barely recognizable status umpteen years ago wrote their own press release? Wow. That's special. Analyse that PR line by line and tell me if you can ID any of the names dropped. Including "AAA radio", "Josh Taft", etc...

"I was 1/5th of a nobody band in Boulder Colorado 15 years ago but I'm still a baller here on the internet car site. And Corey Haim was a D-bag."

Suckage.

You are correct -- I never bothered to keep the the two seperate. Now, Rick Springfield and his brother Bruce . . .

TerryBPP 03-10-2010 08:48 AM

He was on Howard Stern 5-6 years ago. Completely mess. Stuttering, pale, definite pill popper.

Gogar 03-10-2010 08:52 AM

I'm Sorry Denis, and all, that IMO Corey Haim (in life) was a d-bag. I guess I just had the misfortune of seeing that "Two Coreys" show and that's the memory that sticks with me.

As far as casting aspersions on the dead, I'm happy to apologize for that. Shall we revisit the Michael Jackson thread for a while and find out what everyone had to say about him?

Which Cory is which? Wait, never mind, I never knew or cared before and I sure as hell don't now. I'm just glad he's not Michael Jackson famous and we won't hear about this for months on end.

I see your opening for the Bodeans at the MN State Fair. Going to be alot of MILF's at that show. Better line up a sitter....

David 03-10-2010 10:11 AM

For those that don't know, our own Gogar is a member of Big Head Todd and the Monsters.

So Jeremy, did you get to meet Nicole?

m21sniper 03-10-2010 10:23 AM

I find it a depressing state of affairs when rock stars spend all day on internet forums.

Gogar- ORGIES DUDE- you should be having orgies!!!

Honestly never even heard of that band though. Is it rock?

Oddly enough I did meet Nicole Eggert at a party during AFM in 1999. I can't express how completely she ignored me and continiued to walk past as I tried to hit on her.

vash 03-10-2010 12:49 PM

he did a great job in the movie Lucas. RIP kid.

Porsche-O-Phile 03-10-2010 12:53 PM

Who?

Another dead self-important over-indulgent celebrity. No big loss to the world.

enzo1 03-10-2010 01:09 PM

Corey Haim

slodave 03-10-2010 02:28 PM

I was just watching "The Two Coreys" last week.

I had a feeling he did not get his act together.

Bummer.
