well, it's official. me and my big mouth..screwed myself.

ARRRGGHH!

i mentioned before about the idiot mechanics working in our maintenence dept. supervisor got fired for smoking crack at work. second in command needs his meds adjusted by the doc..you get the picture. i dropped my truck for prev maint..needs new windshield, and new battery. no big deal. against the rules, i load tested the battery myself, and i know it is bad..it trickles down, just sitting on my work bench. i filled out the forms, note the issues (to save them time) and dropped the truck off. FEB 1st. in one week they change the oil, etc. they had to wait for supervisor to approve new windshield..(enter my big mouth), i said, "what? why didnt get approval while you were changing the oil and air filter for a week?" silence.

my truck is now in no man's land. windshield is changed..but they are waiting for another supe's approval to take it to the dealership for the warranty work. so from feb 1st, i have been borrowing other vehicle's, driving my own car to the jobsite..hitching rides..in my own gas money, i could have bought a new battery. i took a dozen donuts yesterday to the shop. i noticed my truck is gone and is now at the dealership. crispy creme to the rescue. i need to learn to play nice.

I can never understand a GD word that you type on this forum. On the otherhand, it has sort of a haiku quality to it.

I work for a large privately owned trucking company. The owner would put down the fist of fury at that type of behavior. Working for three brothers has it's upsides. Less BS, too many owners around to get away with it.

I can't tell you how many times I've considered turning someone's internet access down to a trickle. Or maybe routing their phone calls to no man's land. But fortunately, I get paid to much to follow through with those sorts of thoughts.

You have to stop trying to understand the words, and accept it as a zen exercise.

Thank you. I thought I was the only one that couldn't understand a single thing he said.
