In the car, I have "The Club", have only had to clean blood off it once. You have to lock it, or it slides apart when you swing it. Prior to this, had the long screwdriver.

A bike pedal would make for a wicked set of brass knuckles.

The bear spray is what you want for a dog. Little old lady up the street from my folks has a little bichon frise, you know the ones that look like a stuffed animal, mentioned her concern about a dog that had charged her and was undeterred by her walking stick. I had seen her walking, stopped to ask her if she wanted any peaches, that I had just liberated from my parent's house. Gave her the pepper spray I had in the car, along with a few peaches. Nice lady, beautiful roses.

how about a 25" breaker bar? It's a tool, not a weapon...

Oh fuch, where are you real men going with this? But then, again I am a wuzzz without wepons. of any srt in my car or my bike. He wanted to fend off a dog. Yeah, a 15D size battery in your back pocket or 25" screw driver or breaker bar will do you lots of good when you take a spill on the small patch of oil. Go through a lung pretty well. Lets not talk about the big sword, or knife, or whatever thing is.

According to my Pakr Ranger friend they were trained that a knife in the lungs or a finger up the anus of a pit bull will un-clamp its jaw. I wonder what you do with the dog after it unclamps with your finger up its ass, leave it there so it does not bite you again? Knife better i think.

Oh for your bike problem...consider either riding faster or dismounting with bike between you and dog while you reach for your folder or prepare to point finger.

No idea. But he was serious about it, no doubt he was the butt of many jokes after we had a few beers.
