Barn find...... arsenal

Actually found in an old trailer. Hand guns were wrapped in socks and stuck in metal drawers.
Non a re newer than 1979. It is a collect from a friend with Alzheimer's.
He forgot they were there.
Enjoy.....
No quick note : the octagon barrel 1911 Colt is a black powder conversion. Pretty cool ???

I would be very interested in the Savage 1907 pistol. ( The art deco one)

Yeah I like weird pistols, but why the 1911 conversion to BP??? I don't get it.

+1 on both counts. The 1911 is just....wrong.

It's only wrong if you're not a black powder champion and if the 1911 was your only one.
Bob owns 11 not counting the BP one.
That's the count so far.
There are a few customs and if they were your only example of a specific model perhaps all the customs would be questionable.

You really see that as a fair comparison or is glib just your mood for the evening?

H&H Zehner engraved this custom, single shot, heavy barrel, 6.5 x 57 falling block, Palma rifle. It is unclear whether H&H Zehner built this rifle or just engraved it. The only other marking is OREA on the double set trigger assembly, so I'm not sure what this really is.
The serial number is in the 800s so it is pretty rare.

Fair comparison IMO. I have to agree, the black powder 1911 is a travesty.
