What are all you complaining about, there's no HFCS in Heineken. Put down that soft drink and grab something harder, like a Heine.

You guys are all just paranoid. I'm sure the large food companies would NEVER sell us anything that was bad for us or addictive. And if they had internal information from studies about the addictiveness or health problems they would be transparent with the information and not lie to us about it. Shouldn't we just trust the large food companies like RJR Nabisco?
By the way, what does RJR stand for? I guess the old Chinese curse is coming true...."may you live in interesting times". There do seem to be a lot of interesting happenings lately. Now where's my HFC?

Sugar is expensive because it has enjoyed government protection since 1812.
The Great Sugar Shaft The Great Sugar Shaft by James Bovard, April 1998 The U.S. government has devotedly jacked up American sugar prices far above world market prices since the close of the War of 1812. The sugar industry is one of America's oldest infant industries — yet it dodders with the same uncompetitiveness that it showed during the second term of James Madison. Few cases better illustrate how trade policy can be completely immune to economic sense.

Stubbs is good. I usually make my own because my concern is the ugly amount of salt in those bottles. Find and internet recipe, substitue honey for Corn Syrup, just don't add too much. A little extra vinegar and your favorite spices and you'll be telling everyone you make the best BBQ in the world. Oh wait,,,,we all do that anyway, huh!
