Breaking Bad

Anyone been watching this show?

One of the best shows on TV these days IMO. Beautifully crafted but very dark.

Great premise: Mild-mannered, straight high school chemistry teacher finds out he has lung cancer, and wants to leave his family some serious money before he dies, so decides to cook and sell crystal meth on the side.

During his awkward transformation from teacher to drug kingpin, it soon becomes apparent that everyone else around him is also deeply corrupt or flawed on some level—and that he has more integrity than many of his seemingly "normal" acquaintances.

Lots of great characters—and Saul Goodman (the sleazebag lawyer) is absolutely priceless.

Watched from the start and really happy it's starting season 3 up here - it always seems the smart dark dramas get canceled too early.

Best show on TV by miles. Aside from Top Gear it's the only show I'll willingly watch.
Skyler needs some proper pimp-hand.

Bryan Cranston continues to be one of the most entertaining actors working today. He caught my full attention as Hal in Malcom in the Middle and now is incredible as Walt. Also, he's never been afraid of being in his underwear in front of the camera and does it quite often.

Fantastic show, fantastic actors.

He's also a heck of a nice guy and a quick learner of different techniques. I worked with him on Malcom, did you see the one where he does "roller disco"? Funny stuff

One of the best episodes IMO. Any episode that revolves around Hal are always the best.

I just started watching from the beginning. It's a good show, but keeeerist it's slow.

Cancer, handicapped son, beeyotch wife, meathead inlaw, etc... why does it have to be SO melodramatic?

The actors are great... in between the periods of scowling / coughing / groaning at each other.

It's not slow. You're on the wrong drugs.
