Yep...makes sense to put a strip near an airport. I mean, who'll complain about car noises?

I used to like some of GM's sportscars until the government bought them instead of letting things take their natural course.

Good to see Ford kicken tail with its Mustang.

13.86 @ 105.86 for my 928S2. This includes the spare tire, and my 150 pounds. I was burning tire in two gears, and barked it coming into third. I was running Bridgestone tires with a treadwear rating of 220 at the time, which is fairly soft. I'm interested to find out [since I'm smelling bovine excrement at this point] exactly how much weight you pulled out of your US model 2-valve 928 to achieve this wondrous 13.67 time slip. I have 310 hp from the factory, god knows what it was with the Borla exhaust I was running. Classic Cars magazine says that the 928S2 has 310 hp, but that experts agree it is more like 330. That means that it might have 100 hp more than your car, but for some reason your US model with 234 hp can now shave 0.19 seconds off my time?

Hmm. Something doesn't add up. What did you do, replace all the body panels with paper?

The new "Coyote" V8 is GREAT! Finally, a DOHC engine from an American manufacturer that matters! Ford can do with 302 cubic inches what gm needs 378 inches....due to OVERHEAD CAMS!

Hello? Most small cars built 40 years ago had OVERHEAD CAMS. Stupid gm never realized that this was the way to go. They built their 1950's pushrod engines and figured we would buy them. WRONG! Not me. I have never owned a pushrod V8, and NEVER will. gm figures it can push whatever old chassis at me with a bunch of plastic adornments and a 1954 engine design and... "It's good enough for you"

BULL****! No it isn't! While no car is "too good" for me to ride in, I just won't own certain designs and modern gm stuff is all of it. I've never owned a gm car, and I don't want one. I've had two Fords, and both of them were/are junk.

I plan on dieing in the year 2056, when I will be 90 years old. I will probably still be driving a Porsche 928. Hopefully a silver '95 GTS 5 speed~
