Shop-cam working. Stream quality comments?

I was looking for an HTML guru recently to help set up a shop-cam to stream to my website.
Finally got it working, using Ustream as the stream provider, and Adode FME encoder..

WOuld greatly appreciate t comments on the stream and image quality!

Shop-Cam

Video quality is really good.

Framerate is low, stream is not consistent.

You might want to go with a slightly smaller window or lower quality/higher compression to bring the framerate up.

This may sound a little counter intuitive but you may also want to limit the framerate to a lower setting. Can help the stream to be smoother.

BTW, nice language.

Assembly guy's workbench, where he does assembly. And complaining.

Looking into setting up another cam so it's switchable from his area to mine.

Will work on that framerate, thanks!

Sometimes screws get dropped. He's lookign for a screw to match the other screws we'll be using for the particular job we're working on.

Just watched for a couple of more minutes.

You need to get that guy off there.

Not sure it will instill or inspire much confidence in your customers.

You are probably used to him by now but man I'd be beating him 20 times a day.

Just sayin.

Yeah I just watched that part.

He said, "I can just use one of the better looking ones of the crappy ones" or something like that.

He's fired twice a day. We're like an old married couple!

But, done and done. We're now on me and winding coils.

"Crappy ones" -- the screws he's looking for are aged to look old. Sometimes they turn out great, sometimes not so great.. just differenappearances is all. "Crappy" means "not quite as aged lookign as they should be"

Fair enough but if your customers aren't privy to the shop lingo.....

And I understand. Have had a couple like him before. If he is good at his job makes it easier to become "deaf".
