Tetris Sprint: Arrgh! I know I'm not THAT old!!!

I started playing Tetris- quite innocently- about three months ago out of boredom. After repeatedly dominating the game through all of the levels, I moved on to something called "Tetris Sprint" which is a timed game in which the player must clear 40 lines as fast as possible.

Now, three months ago I started with a time of about 2:00. I have since worked my way down to 1:08- but there are *#$^% people with times in the mid-30's. I'm getting faster, but I can't see myself getting that quick. Ever. I'm looking for others over 30 who care to try this game- with any luck, someone else will be able to break 1:00; I need something to give me some faith that it is possible for de old folk to keep quick fingers and minds. Most of you likely have something better to do. However, for the two that do NOT, the link is here.

Okay, new rule. No one under 30 is allowed to post times in public for fear of driving me to the absolute edge.

If you made it to 53 seconds in one night of playing I would go shoot my dog.

It's really strange: when I take a day off from this *$% game, my time goes back up to ~1:25 upon returning. If I take three days off (was at Auburn spring game this weekend) my time generally drops (haven't beat my 1:08 but I'm breathing down its neck).

I think I need to see a sports shrink- after I submit this game for consideration in the "What's a Sport" thread.

You do realize that you are competing against people whose whole life revolves around being at the top of the scoreboard for this game, right? I know some of these typse personally, and be glad that you have a Porsche and can talk to women.
