I have considered both these suggestions but they leave me wanting. There are a few threads here that I would also like to put on ignore. Aurel and Joe have good ideas but they are ( the ideas, not Joe and Aurel) very passive. I would prefer to actively ignore certain stuff, and hitting a few keys to accomplish that, would be more satisfying!

Best,
Tom

If you do not know what you are doing with commands like this, then why in the world did you do what SG recommended? If he told you to put a gun to your head and pull the trigger...

Speaking of idiots...

Blindly trusting something, anything, that you find on an anon internet forum is strongly not recommended.

At the worst, it rebooted his computer. To call someone a "richard cranium" because you did something silly that 90% of the people should know will reboot your computer is... well its not the smartest thing in the world.

Well, I didn't find the "Playa-speek" humor a particularly sophisticated joke , but obviously it went right over your head.

Aw, Joe, read some of his other posts. He's jerkin' someone's chain.

My solution, remove Pelican from your favorites and desktop.

Unlike YOU I do not deal with people who cannot speak proper English. You want to speak like a "player or gangster" thats fine but it will not be done around me. Grow up then come back...

Milt, agree! Thats why I left PPOT for six months a while back. So much BS that is not worth putting up with on OT these days.
