fun with spoons-
my sister wanted to see what shooting was about, so the wife and i took her and her husband out to the range.....
they are in there thirty's and had never really had the opportunity to shoot; so i sat down with her and a friendly, bolt action .22 and a target. she went nuts, "this is cool!"  so i went through how it works and how to be safe and dropped a box of 500 Rd's in front of her and said " go nuts". then i went over and shot my rem700 in .308 and was happy i could step away and shoot. a good time was had by all, my sister and her husband both had a go at shooting my .308 also. |

Next time get her something with a longer barrel. Less noise, kick and so on which in the end makes her more accurate and have more fun.

Took my kid's girlfriend for her first time shooting a couple of weeks ago. Started with a .22.
 Then something else.  Then a variety of .22 handguns, no photos with them though. She did great on the rack of steel plates with a S&W with a red dot sight. Jim
