I am a 50 something dude that has never been handcuffs. The only time I have seen the local jail was to bail out a good friend. Just seeing the jail from the good side was enough to keep me from ever wanting to see the inside.

Thats my plan too Glen... One of my friends was searching public records (looking to see if another friends was in fact married... he isn't..... long story) any ways... She was like, "I don't find anything on you." I was like is that a surprise. I would bet you never find anything....

Yea, I was looking for a guy I worked with a few years ago. The first thing I found on him was his arrest for a DUI. I have not even had a ticket in over 25 years.

Hello gray bar hotel. Dumbazzzzz.

Interesting. My Sister was a Solicitor in South Carolina for over 20 years...she prosecuted some bad, bad hombres. She retired last year with a bunch of memories no one wants in their mental Rolodex. She earned her retirement.

As you know, at this level they really don't care much about your client other than to make a point. If the point is to not appear weak with those that can afford council (politics) then good luck.

If he gets a pass, do me a favor, take him and his lame parents to some form of intervention.

This kids version of consequence needs adjustment.

BTW...I had a spill on the MC I bought from you...I think it was a latent, prior owner defect...you'll be hearing from my retired, bored Sister:cool:

Yeah, same here.

Imagine putting a kid in jail over a blunt.

Amazing.

A friend will bail you out of jail if you get into a fight.

A good friend will be sitting in jail, right alongside you, after the fight.

He got into trouble all by himself. I knew he was good for the money so I helped him get out of a jam. I told him he was a dumb ass for driving drunk. He has been sober for many years now.

Don't worry, i just saw your post as an excuse to post one of my favored friendship sayings. :)

It wasn't. They revoked his bail & so they should.

And a very good friend will talk you out of the fight. :D

No friend of mine would ever talk me out of a fight.

I don't hang out with pacifists. ;)

On the blunt, since i think pot should be perfectly legal, i have a hard time in any way blaming the kid for having one. I think that the fact that pot is still illegal in so many places just goes to show how stupid we are as a society.

I think the "defect" was in the module that overestimated the capabilities of the CPU in controling such a fine piece of machinery.

One of the best things my Father ever did for me was locking me in a jail cell when I was around 9 years old. He was the Chief of police at the time, and he left me in there for around 20 years with the lights out. O.K. it was probably only 30 minutes, but it SEEMED like an eternity. I have had a pathological fear of jails since.

Maybe this kid needs a dose of the same.
