My friends call me, Top
|
After my first DE at The Glen several years ago, I got into practicing the track on GT Legends. When I went back for my second DE, the instructor was very impressed with my knowledge of the track, braking points, turn ins.
I was much more comfortable with the track also. I believe it can make a big difference.

I will be attending the Skip Barber 3-day racing school this year - Can anyone recommend a game for the PS3 that has Laguna Seca?

For PS3 you Want the latest Gran Turismo....
If you have Xbox 360 you want the latest Forza.... Which is better? Well thats a religious question my friend.... |

Ok - I have Gran Turismo 5 Prolog... but I just recently bought it for this reason, to learn the track a bit.
I have only played it a few times and there are only a few small tracks unlocked. I am sure there is a code cheat or some such crap out there to get the other tracks (if they exist) can someone point me in the right direction?

prologue only has like 4 real world tracks.
London, Daytona Infield, Fuji Speedway, Suzuka Circuit laguna seca is not available. however if u get the old GT4 for PS2, that def has laguna seca...but it won't look as pretty |

Depending on which PS3 you have you can play PS2 games on it. The 80 and 60 play PS2 games, the 40 Gig doesn't. I would go with GT4, good stuff.

I play alot of RFactor on the PC. The game costs 40 bucks and cars and tracks are free downloads. You really don't even need a high end PC to run it. I think I have at least 150 tracks and 100 diferent car mods downloaded.

Yes, you can play the games & watch videos all you want, but you are not prepared (at least at the 'Ring) for the true elevation changes. Reminded me of Road Atlanta on steroids.

This is for fun... Not intended to replace real life.
Is GT5 actually on the shelves? (No kids in the house, so I'm outta the loop.)
