One in the living room, there isn't a reason to have more, it's still the same crap.
One 52" flat screen with surround and Blue Ray (Sony) and 3 older CRTs in the bedroom, garage and office
Two. Living room and bedroom (I like to watch Matlock in the morning )
I have a friend with 7 TV's in a 3 bedroom house. The have 3 in their semi-outdoor "entertainment room," one in the living room, and one each in the bedrooms. For their annual Superbowl party (I haven't attended in a few years,) they up that total to ten, adding TV's to the kitchen, bar area and yes, bathroom. Can't be too safe, I guess. |
We have four now. Just got a Samsung LED/LCD 240hz with an amazing picture. Wife says its like watching a play.
5 ....just wired in for a 6th so I can watch the news while cooking
One.
I absolutely refuse to put a TV (or a phone, other than cell phone for emergencies) in the bedroom. Never have, never will. The bedroom is my sanctuary away from the world and all its associated silly distractions and electronic annoyances. I value my sleep time, the little I get. I probably watch a half hour to hour a week cumulative - if that, just to get caught up on whatever I've set up the DVR to record that might sound interesting. Usually after a half hour I'm bored anyway and have too many other things to do anyway. If the TV went away tomorrow I wouldn't miss it much. |
