I just looked for it, did they delete it???

sammyg2 06-14-2010 09:03 PM

Oh yeah. Guys just pull a knife out for no reason. The dumass who had the beer didn't do anything to provoke it. Uh huh.

I just read the rest of it. the punk lied when confronted and said his beer was a soda, after he was told there was no beer allowed. STRIKE ONE

Then the guy working the event grabbed the guys beer and a scuffle ensued, the guy with the beer got confrontational in a physical way. STRIKE TWO

Then the lying punk with the beer said that he was gonna bust the bottle over the corner worker's head. STRIKE THREE

That's when the corner worker pulled the knife, after the lying POS punk threatened to bust a bottle over his head. Yet the narrator of the original part was saying that neither he nor his friend were disrespectful.

What a crock. No wonder the story was yanked, the truth came out.

914 guys, go figure.
I've met plenty of 914 folks that were pure gold, but the rest of them had "issues".
Something about that car attracts them like moths to a light.

Looks like it was deleted...

PCA probably afraid of lawsuits...a liability issue. But, nobody hurt, right???

widgeon13 06-15-2010 03:11 AM

Doesn't everyone sign a release when they enter a club event? I think that is where the no alcohol thing is buried, don't know for certain but pulling a knife is pretty stupid all over a beer.

We need Homeland Security at these events!

Way back in the olden days of PCA autocross many guys would open a wheat pop AFTER the autocross was over. We started having a few open beers at the autocross just as soon as one guy would be done with his runs. Everyone else was running, and he is sucking beer. We just said no beer anywhere at any driving event. End of story, no exceptions. The problem went away with that 914 driver. By the way I drove a 914 at that time.

jhynesrockmtn 06-15-2010 05:50 AM

What was Sniper doing in Kalifornia with a combat knife watching 914's autocross?

m21sniper 06-15-2010 05:53 AM

It wasn't me, i would have pulled out either an HK P7 or a Cold Steel Katana, and there would have been no survivors. ;)

Based on what's been said here, it seems to me that the dude with the beer totally provoked the corner guy, but even still...ya cannot be pulling knives out on people every time someone threatens you.

It sounds to me that the knife didn't come out until after the beer-drinking friend threatened to bust his beer bottle over that guys head.

So who threatened physical harm first?!?

-Z-man.

VINMAN 06-15-2010 06:11 AM

Maybe the guy should have just dumped the beer. But....The a-hole got aggressive and tried to rip the beer out of the guys hand. He provoked it. Instead of getting physical. Maybe should have tried to reason with him. Or asked him to leave.
You put a hand on me you are gonna get hit back. Plain and simple. You pull a knife on me, then I pick up a garbage can and bust it over your head. I dont give a crap what kind of "official" you are. Obviously this jerkoff does not know how to deal with people and should not be in that position of "authority".

Icemaster 06-15-2010 06:18 AM

Speeder needs to pimp slap them both.

Danimal16 06-15-2010 06:20 AM

The knife guy pulled the knife in a non-life threatening situation loses, IMHO. First of all the knife guy assaults the other guy by trying to take his beer, that is the third strike right there. Knife guy is not law enforcement, period. Provoked or not, knife guy did a battery and he is wrong. Why didn't knife guy call others to gang up on this guy and tell him the story. Call the cops and get the turd out of there? Nope, lets assault him and than pull a knife.

masraum 06-15-2010 06:29 AM

Sounds like a bad situation all around. It sounds like the "official" was a jackazz, and it sounds like the guy with the beer was a dumbazz. The two were made for each other.

rouxroux 06-15-2010 07:12 AM

Beer at a PCA event? THAT's the problem! As stated before "Honey, where's my merlot"?

Fixed it for you!

URY914 06-15-2010 07:39 AM

I said this before.........Who takes 2 beers in a backpack on a bus ride and a bike ride to a a/x?

herr_oberst 06-15-2010 11:16 AM

• All the "official" needed to say was "We can't monitor who drives and who doesn't at these events, that's why there has to be a no alcohol policy"

THEN,

Anyone with half a brain would have put the beers away immediately.

• (but when it becomes a dumb**** vs dumbass situation, then all bets are off.)

• What kind of neighborhood is this a/x in that the officials have to carry steel?

Agreed.

Grabbing the beer was extremely stupid, and will usually result in getting your a$$ kicked as often as not.

Agreed.

Thankfully that official is not a cop. (I hope).

Gawd - All this over a beer? You'd think a Non-RGruppe member parked in a RGruppe parking area or something.......
