Space station sighting?
10:15 tonight Central over Dallas.
What did we see moving across the sky? Looked like a star, definitely not a plane, waaaayyyy too high up.

i saw it fly over florida last year, was pretty neat, was moving at a good pace and was obviosly no jet

Yea, it is cool. Back in 2000 we were on a cruise ship off the Island of Maui. I had used that web site above to determine when the Space Station was going to go over. I had my watch set with an alarm. We went outside and I proclaimed “it will appear right over there” and a few second later it streaked across the sky.

Looks like there were a couple of things crossing around 10:15. Not the ISS. Check this chart:

I was able to watch ISS pass once will tracking it in my telescope, that was pretty cool because you could actually see structure and color. Most of it reflects white/bright yellow, but some of the panels reflected a copper color.

Could have been a satelite drifting by, I'm seen a few of those. Kinda cool actually.
