Need a 356 engine yoke (for stand) in L.A.

I posted this on the 356 sub-forum: Anyone have a 356 engine yoke (for stand) in Los Angeles? I suppose I could just buy a VW yoke for cheapo? Enquiring minds want to know.

Hope you are not having to pull Paul's 356 engine out??? I have a 911 engine yoke that you could borrow but bet that it's too big.

I have one for the 411 motor. I think VW, all formats, and the 356 all bolt up the same way. You have the bench part or the stand for the floor? You may need some spacers if the flywheel and clutch ass'y are staying. And some longer bolts. You may have to take a trip to the local hardware store.

If thats NOT getting carried away, please do not show us what is! Hope you found problems that caused it to come that far down? At least Paul will get a fresh engine in the deal! You should have told us on Tuesday you were pulling it, would have stayed an extra day to help!

Milt, bring that yoke up with you if you could. I'm sure it will work fine.
