I'll still bring my point up that it shouldn't matter anymore. Carfax doesn't do "unlimited" monthly subscriptions anymore. Each report is paid for. I lobby to change the rules to allowing "gifting of reports"

I used them several months ago and they still had a "monthly" plan that you could look up as many cars as you wished for 30 days time. Has this been stopped?

you can either buy one report, or five reports. to me, this is the same as somebody borrowing a 356 engine cradle. ...using a tool to help with a car. both the cradle and the carfax have been paid for by somebody.

I am sure the willingness to "donate" a report has decreased noticeably now too! I am not surprised CarFax has changed the way they charge. There was a lot of abuse including people selling reports on CL for $3. I would like to see a 10 report buy in that's good for a couple of years at a discount for the active car shopper. George | ||

No carfax 'gifting' allowed here. It doesn't matter what 'plan' they have active - their fine print clearly states you can't 'share' or 'sell' your ability to view reports. Case closed. Thread closed. -Z-man.
