I think this Over Qualified thing is total BS:mad: and I tell you why, 2 years ago I had the task to find and hire 20 technicians, I interviewed 82 of them :eek: and found my 20, from those 82 had I have one with this super duper over qualifications, MINIMUM, I would have ask him if he was was willing to work for less according to our budget, but I didn't have that scenario, my point is that they should at least make an offer, if I can find someone over qualified that will work within my budget why not hire them on the spot!? :confused:
|
well I am not trying to become a millionare overnight- I am just want to work for a liveable wage ($40k too much to ask??!!) and have growth potential. I am used to getting screwed on wage since I am young- so WTFFFFF?
Let all these losers hire the guy with 200 years of experience for dirt and see what a happy and hard working employee they are... they wont get what they are looking for. Bottom line, quality costs money period. If you want to cut costs, thats where you find someone younger and more willing to deal with the B.S that you dish them on 1st and 15th of every month. I swear to ****** I will simply open a garage with a loft on top and just crank out cars for the rest of my life. Sick of these dreaming ********* employers... |
Kris if you want to email me your resume or let me know the specifics of the job you are looking for, I search every night for my wife, and I can easily look for your line too, I do this every night, since I'm also looking for a dream job for me;
As long as I woke up in the morning, I have always said that "You'll never know what the day will bring today":) |
I agree - and right now - unfortunately it's the employers who are calling the shots. Five years ago they were kissing employees a$$es asking what else they could do to KEEP good employees. Now it's either throw away - or my task is finding unicorns. (bookkeeper, office manager that can answer phones and will be happy with $22K) :(
I currently have two employees that have JD's (from out of the state, not FL BAR) that are wanting to accept $14 an hour... |
Juan- Thank you very much and if you pm me your email address I will take you up on that!
Well I will not take $14/hour, but $40k/year is not asking much more... These employers do run the show now, but that doesnt mean they are not dreaming (or in some cases high) if they think what they are asking is going to actually benefit them. Either way, I will continue to swing wrenches untill the economy clears up. I have no issues with this concept- I have wined & dined people with millions of dollars and I have cut cars apart with a torch at a salvage yard, I have dug up sesspools, I have done construction, Ive worked on Porsches, etc... not much of anything I cannot do- so I am not worried. I will always make money no matter where I end up on God's green earth. |

Those jobs are mint!, But... I don't have the experience in the given industries. I'm about ready to take 100% commission salary... I am self motivated and will perform.

You have to know someone to get a job in this suckazz economy. Sending a resume out to www.wft will not get you a job.

What are the demographics for the area you're looking at? Different people, different needs.

The demographic of the area is of little concern to me, as long as it is semi quite and I could go party when I want to. I like old people because they usually cant hear how loud my car is :) and on another note- I think it is correct that you have to know someone to get a job nowadays and the .com links to jobs simply go into a junk file.
Again, anyone who is looking for a medical sales rep in the south Florida area, let me know- I will not waste anyone's time... |
