If contacting the media don't forget NJ 101.5 they love to bash bad cops. I think your towns PD has been beat up by NJ1010 before. Email the station your story and let them know when you are going to the council meeting they will send a reporter.

When a guy is on top of our wife beating her head into the floor there is no place to retreat to. This is not assualt but attempted murder...

So the cops let this guy go once...and now twice...if something happens now the town you live in is going to have to change its name to Vinman.

I agree with everything said above about a dog my 6 month old beagle motley may only be a beagle and not so intimidating but if a stranger comes near the house or someone comes near you outside that he doesnt get a good feeling about then he gives me a warning and positions himself between me,the girlfriend and the other person.

Tabs, I'm not happy at all about the way the police handled it, but even so, unfortunately it is out of the cops hands after a certain point. It is up to the DA, and judge. But with the joke of a justice system we have, I'm not very confident.
