Does this a scam?

I've advertised a car for sale on Craigslist, and received this inquiry:

"I am willing to buy the it and i will
like to know the present condition and the last price..But due to the
nature of my job and location...i will not be able to come for
inspection,am a very busy type as i work long hours everyday,i have
gone through your advertisement and i am satisfied with it.

As for the payment..i will be paying you via the fastest and secure
way to pay online(PayPal).

I have a private courier agent that will come for the pick up after
the payment have been made ...so no shipping included. You can now send
me your PayPal email so i can pay in right away and also include your
address in your reply. If you don't have a paypal account, you can
easily set up one...log on to www.paypal.com and sign up. its very
easy.I await your reply asap"

What do you all think? I heard something once about how if something is too good to be true, it probably is?

One of these days someone is going to post "Is this a scam" and it won't be.

Hasn't happened yet, but it could!

demand cash. period. they will then claim they cannot, but will send their "agent" for the item you are selling. then demand that their "agent" bring cash. their english and grammar will deteriorate as you get them off of their script. have fun!

Tell him, "I be very busy too - to make this transaction go smooth, I be leaving the "ITEM" on the curb in front of my house" "please leave the cash payment on the curb" Thank you in advance I gotta go because I'm out-of-the-country and very busy, working long hours everyday.

replay saying your 1952 Harley Hardtail XJKLS Softail Special Edition is all that you said in the advertisement. Let them know you are anxiously awaiting word from them and your email at paypal is (provide bogus, very bogus email). Give an address that does not exist or is some large company. Let him know you are ready to do this deal. Scam the scammer, just use up their time.

I just was wanting to know what colour and year and exact model of "it" you are trying to sell? I have an easy to use www.paypal.com account and am waiting to buy a new "it" ;-)
