WHY? Denis, this is not a thread that you can maneuver around as you please.

This is a thread about Sniper being gone and nothing else.

Please, if you want to have a thread about people who are gone from the board, start it. Just because you do not like Sniper, please do not try to change its direction or subject of the thread.

You can just stop posting as Todd said and look at other threads.

People just can't do it. That's what makes snipe so awesome, how he can effortlessly get people to unwittingly join in creating the Legend of Snipe. It's hilarious.

Let's lay it out on the line. What did snipe have?
Well, let's see:

He was apparently a trained killer.

He had a job repossessing vehicles.

He got run over by someone and got hurt.

He liked spoons.

He liked lots of women and wasn't really too particular.

His personal grooming was interesting with the long seemingly silky hair and muscle shirts.

He liked to promote himself.

He liked to promote his car.

He wanted you to know he lived in the ghetto and wasn't afraid. Proud, actually.

He really didn't give a rat's ass about you or yours.

If it wasn't for Hugh, I would still be trying to figure out what was wrong with our 1st 944.

Hugh was before my time. But I have stumbled upon enough of his posts and read enough things to know that I missed out.

Mind you I never had a problem with the guy and if I ever meet him, I'll buy him more than one beer.
As much as I appreciated his somewhat strange opinions and his tenacity to stick by them, I now enjoy the relative calm that has filled the "void" he left.

To be honest, much of the discussions he was in with many of the other members here became a little boring after a while.
A discussion should end after everyone agrees or agrees to disagree.
Sniper threads (whether he started the thread or just responded in one) always went much further because nobody backed down, que in the personal attacks and from that point on, all those threads were pretty much identical.
I did enjoy his spoon threads a lot.

I have to say that I find no redeeming qualities in the man... He attacked me every chance he got.... He is pretty much the only Pelican that I have no care to meet...
