My favorite car vids on the net

Besides the Shell-Ferrari commercial...

I also like these.

This guy driving like this in a turbo on these tiny little lanes... He must use a special seat to accomodate him and his enormous brass nuts.

Pou made some WRC compilations to music that are top notch. I'd post them all if I could find more than 2. I have them all saved to my HD. I emailed him once to find out if he'd make any more. Unfortunately, he stopped making them because Speed stopped hosting WRC.

2001

2003

956 at Le Mans. I like this better than the 'Ring video since Bell talks all through that one.

936 at Le Mans

Vette vs Elise at the 'Ring

Sidney, excellent vid. I love the sound. It took a while, but I eventually figured out where to download it.

John, good stuff, except for the music.

There is really only one video that brings a huge grin to my face. This video involves another "classic" vehicle like the 911.

Phony? The guy made a short film. Filmed the driving portion first, then dubbed in the sound afterward. Pretty much how most films/documentaries are made.

Heck...even "Le Mans" was dubbed: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0067334/

Excellent sound in that BMW M1 vid.

Wow, it's very bizarre to see that type of Jag performing like that.

OK, then if you're gonna dub in the sound, don't use the sound track from LeMans while tooling down city streets a 100 MPH AT THE MOST. That long pull in high gear would have had those cars he passed go by in a flash, not like he was doing 80 or 90 in 60 MPH traffic. Or 60 in 40 MPH traffic.
