with itunes open, go up to FILE and click on "add folder to library"....then find the folders of music you want to add and click on them one at a time or highlight them all

itunes will then add them

any headphones sound better than the apple ones. i throw them away when i buy a new ipod. you have to decide if you want in-ear, on-ear or over-ear phones...for in-ear buds, i like sennheiser
