Wasting time since the layoff

I wasn't doing much, just wasting time and we went to Vancouver, I saw all the Indian art work and liked it but they want soooo much money. They just made it yesterday in the shop but it is ART.
We went camping at Pismo with some friends in April and over beers talked about carving that stuff. I have never carved anything, ever, but what the heck, it's not like I have a job. So in May I took out the Exacto set and started out.
This is where I am now, I know there are lots of good artists out there but what the heck, I have been doing this for four months and am happy with my latest work. Been working on this, and some other stuff for three weeks now. Was an Avacodo log in my buddies fire wood pile. Now it's almost a Gecko. The lizard is ten inches long and the fire wood stick is 20.

Spoon

Thanks,
here is the third thing I made, Black and White Ebony, I had to buy a couple chisels to do this one. EXacto wouldn't cut it.

I tried to make an Eagle on the end.
