My first car was a 1960 VW bug with 36 HP. Zero to 60 was measured with a calendar. Top speed was 70 with a tail wind and downhill. It was not much like those dragsters. WOW.

Hi Chief, that white bug could be a 350/400hp turbo.

My wife is going to have a nice bug next summer, see my sig.
She used to driving bugs with a bit of power. I get the 914.

Guy I knew in HS had an pearl yellow bug that could hoist the front wheels in a big way, had little clip on wheelie bars. Embarassed numerous young men in impressive American iron. Came off the line so hard it would make your insides hurt.
